Psychology Fees
If you would like to see a psychologist, services are available either as a private client or through a referral from your GP (a Mental Health Care Plan). If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) you will be able to access a Medicare rebate for up to ten sessions per calendar year.
The below table shows our fees and rebates for our psychologists.
We believe that finances should not be an obstacle in seeking psychological therapy, and therefore offer a limited number of bulk billing appointments for those clients who meet the criteria. The criteria is that the client is currently unemployed or on a pension, and has a Mental Health Care Plan referral from their GP. This service is also dependent on clinician availability. If you are undergoing hardship our psychologists are happy to discuss a reduced fee arrangement with you.
Please note in the event that you need to cancel or postpone an appointment, notification is required at least 24 hours in advance. Where an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, the client will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00.
